Floridan Aquifer System
The Floridan Aquifer system is located beneath the coastal regions of the Southeastern United States and is one of the world's most productive aquifers. The system underlies an area of about 100,000 square miles and provides water for several large cities in the Southeast, including Savannah in Georgia and Orlando, Tallahassee, and St. Petersburg in Florida.
